2 - 4 - 2011 - 3rd Tournament cancelled
Sorry about the huge delay!
After much consideration we have decided to cancel / postpone our 3rd tourney, Super mega fun time. The reason is because we simply do not have the time at the moment
to organize the event. A tournament of this size takes a LOT of time since we have to host every match, and we just don't have the time necessary at the moment.
We are sorry about this, but our plan is to host a tournament as soon as we feel we will have the time and resources to host it properly. We will announce it here
on the website and email all contestants to notify when this happens. Until then, stay tuned!
12 - 1 - 2011 - 3rd Tournament announced!!!
Our 3rd tournament has now been announced! We are now looking for players to participate in this epic event! Tell all your friends about it.
The tournament is called Super Mega Fun Time and will consist of 32 players duking it out first in a group stage and then in a bracket
of 16 players. To see full details please CLICK HERE!
As usual all players of all skill levels are welcome to take part in it, as long as you play on the europeans servers. Go to the sign up page to sign up.
Oh and by the way, since the last SC2 patch Blizzard has blessed us with chat channels (finally). Our official channel will simply be named "STI". Join it :)

15 - 12 - 2010 - ThirdEye 1st place winner!
Congratulations to ThirdEye for winning the 2nd STI tournament - Intergalactical Warzone! After almost 2 hours ThirdEye eventually won the grandfinal against Troy with 4-2.
A big thanks from STI to both Troy and ThirdEye as well as every other contestant that took part in the tournament. Please continue to check the website! A video that covers the past tournament
is incoming and we will also announce more news about upcoming future events.

2 - 12 - 2010 - New domain: sti-starcraft.org
We are pleased to announce that our new URL will be www.sti-starcraft.org. The old domain (stinv.site40.net) will simply redirect you to this page.
We encourage everyone to start using this new URL to access the website.
1 - 12 - 2010 - Xmas time :D
Only 24 days to Christmas day :) We celebrate this by changing the looks of our website a bit as you can see.
On further notice the semifinals have been moved to December 3rd and 4th, both @ 21.00 (GMT+1)

Semi finals will take place @ the 2nd and 3th of December. Check the results page.
26 - 11 - 2010 - Quarter finals announced
The quarter finals are now over and we are beginning to move ahead to the end of this tournament. The remaining players are Pro, Troy, WCR and ThirdEye. We hope for some epic last matches :)
On further notice we have changed the format a little to that the grand final will be a best-of-7 match. Times and dates for the semifinals will be announced whitin the next two days so please stay
tuned.

2 - 11 - 2010 - Round of 16 coming up!
The round-of-16 matches will start at November the 8th. If you haven't checked the times and dates please do so here. As usual we need confirms from all participants and we are still awaiting confirmations from most of you. Check your inboxes :)
25 - 10 - 2010 - Lag, language and Ban!
As you may have noticed, we have been very strict about spectators who lag/tab during official STI Games. We donīt want a single person or two
to ruin the experience for the competitors and other spectators, just because they canīt turn off their torrents and such! If we notice that a spectator
is causing major distubance he or she will be asked to leave. In each case, we will decide on what action to take against this specator. Most of the times its only 1 game ban
to give the spectator a chance to fix the problem.
Language is also something you must consider, be polite and talk about relevant stuff! Racism, immature language, spamming and not respecting Admins are punished with a time- or gameban!

24 - 10 - 2010 - 2nd Tournament is underway!
Finally our 2nd tournament, The Intergalactical Warzone, has started! :D The first match was played yesterday between BlindBoy and incredible. BlindBoy won after a two winstreak which set
the scoreboard to 2-1. Congratulations to BlindBoy!
Today there will be three more exciting mathces so be sure to be online for an invite if you want to spectate! Check the Fixtures & Results section for detailed
information on all the matches.
19 - 10 - 2010 - Still awaiting confirmation!!!
Many of you still haven't replied to the mass confirmation mails! Do note that without your confirmation you won't be able to play in the tournament!
I've sent reminders to everyone who still have not confirmed their places. Please check your e-mail and respond to it ASAP!
11 - 10 - 2010 - Now awaiting the grand opening!!
We know some of you have been frustrated about delayed updates regarding info on our upcoming tournament... we aplogize for this but are now proud to tell you that everything is set and ready to go.
A final confirmation mail has been sent to all participants that appear in the bracket. Please note that it is very important you respond to this! If not we might have to replace you with another player.
The tournament will start @ October 23. See you there :) As usual people are welcome to spectate.

13 - 08 - 2010 - FIRST MATCHES ANNOUNCED!
The first 8 matches that make up the round of 16 has been announced. For all info check the Fixtures & Results section.
It will be a 16-player tournament and for those who didn't got into the tournament that were signed up (sorry folks!) have been placed in a queue in case someone
for some reason drops out... although we hope this doesn't happen. Just in case a final e-mail / message has been sent to all to confirm that you are still in, it
is vital that you reply to this.
11 - 08 - 2010 - Additional info
The final preparations for the STI Opening Invitational are underway. A date for the first match will be announced very soon so stay tuned! The tournament itself will be played
over a number of days. We will set exact dates and times for the first matches shortly. It will be displayed under the "Fixtures and results" section. If you get a time/date
where you cannot attend you must tell us by contacting us at st_invitational@live.se.
Before we decide how many players we will have in the tournament (16 or 32) we will doublecheck one last time with every player to see if theyre still available and interested.
